Joey Gallo Goes Full Chippendale, Breaks MLB Social Media

Joey Gallo is an absolute unit.

I hope you like things a little spicy because there was some really zesty pico de Gallo on social media yesterday. Please don't stop reading because of that pun. There are better things along the way. Let's do some backstory.

Every year in early September-ish, the Los Angeles Dodgers celebrate an early Halloween of sorts by dressing up in costumes. It began as a sort of light rookie hazing before becoming a team-wide event in 2019. Hazing is lame. This is a far better team-building exercise. There have been some terrific costumes over the years. A personal favorite of mine was Jaime Jarrín dressed as legendary Dodgers' scout Mike Brito.

2022 Editions Are Fun

There are too many for me to list here but some good ones from this season. Some of the best were Clayton Kershaw and Tyler Anderson as Goose and Maverick from "Top Gun," Trea Turner as The Wolf of Wall Street, and Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman as Tiger Woods and his caddy.

Okay. Let's get to the steamy stuff. Behold.

From left to right: Andre Jackson, Joey Gallo, Cody Bellinger, and Justin Turner. Jackson and Gallo went for it—they are truly bare-chested. Bellinger and Turner are wearing chest pieces a-la Ricardo Montalbán. I'm old.

Gallo's physique was particularly popular on social media. Baseball fans were big fans of the Chippendale look.

There were many more posts that I can confidently say were "not safe for work" but you can search Twitter and find them pretty easily.

Gallo And The Boys

The Dodgers are running away with the division and just took two out of three from the Padres in San Diego. It's safe to say the Dodgers are having a good time.
