Tom Brady's Crazy Golf Shot Is Too Good To Be True

Tom Brady has another viral video and there are things that make the latest masterpiece a bit suspicious.

The odds of getting a hole-in-one is 12,500 to one. Tom Brady did it while being recorded.

Golf extraordinaire Rick Shiels has attempted the feat on his YouTube channel without success. Brady did it with a drone whizzing past him.

Then again, this beautiful video could be nothing more than fugazi.

A good friend of mine said the video looked like it was taken at Bramaer Country Club in Tarzana, Calif. “I was a member there for a few years and my dad for 30,” he said. “That is one of the more difficult shots on the course, especially with the pin back.”

Again, I go back to how remarkably difficult it is to get that little golf ball to travel hundreds of yards into a slightly bigger hole. It’s one of the more difficult things to do in life but is definitely more enjoyable with a six-pack in you.

Although PGA.com states the feat is more attainable the better you are at the sport, it still remains a crazy thing to accomplish.

Then you have to ask why is Brady being filmed, and why by drone shot? And, the important question, why should we believe football Pinnochio?

This is the same dude who dropped the previous viral banger of him throwing a football into a throwing machine.

Only that was later discovered to be a big, fat fake.

So probably by the time I hit publish, we will discover that this too was some elaborate viral video ploy.

It was, as For the Win spots, a makeshift tee box in the middle of a longer hole. So right there dulls the moment a smidgeon. You could already call it manufactured and not the same organic feel as that birdie you scored just as the edibles kicked in last weekend.

But I don’t care. I want to live in a world where there is some dude out there who doesn’t age, never retires, wins Super Bowls with the regularity that most of us go in for our physicals, and gets drone shots of his hole-in-ones.

Yes, that world seems more palatable.
