"Who Is Jack Harlow?" NBA Refs Still Unsure

Nobody gets tired of seeing an older generation be unaware of who is currently popular.

Let's get something out in the air immediately. Being out of touch with what is popular is not an age thing, it's a choice or state of mind.

You don't reach a certain numbered age and immediately become old and oblivious. It's more of a conscious choice. That said, let's see some NBA referees who made that choice a long time ago. This happened during Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals between the Boston Celtics and the Milwaukee Bucks.

Candid moments like these are hilarious. It's also nice to see officials being humanized. They are too often just targets for our anger. I also have a confession to make.

I am barely aware of who Jack Harlow is. I have heard one of his songs and one song he was featured on. I know everyone cares greatly about my opinions, so, I think he's just fine. His music did not offend my ears nor did it grab me, but his talent as a rapper is pretty evident.

I've got to file this one under "looks like he shouldn't be, but is." Let's face it, this looks like the guys who got beat up in high school. Basically, he looks like one of the guys I hung out with. Anyway. What I appreciate about Harlow is that even if his music isn't your bag, I have little doubt that his music comes from a place of sincerity and true artistry. When it comes to art, that's all that matters.

The Bucks took game one, 101-89. Game two is Tuesday night on TNT.
