Dennis Rodman 48 Hours In Vegas Movie? Count Us In

Oh we're going to need to see this one.

Do you remember "The Last Dance?" It was a documentary that was released when we were all locked inside in 2020 about the last season of the 90s Chicago Bulls dynasty. It was riveting television, and I admit I still watch it as background noise quite often. The documentary had a lot of content about the Bulls, the most notable players and their personal histories, and a few bombshells. Who had more bombshell moments in the NBA than Dennis Rodman? Remember this clip? It is not NSFW.

The time between the video above and this video is the time we all wanted details about.

How many of us desperately wanted to know what debauchery and shenanigans Rodman got himself into in those 48 hours? Well, there is good news.

Rodman In Vegas—The Movie?

"The spec is inspired by the crazy story of how NBA star Dennis Rodman went on a madcap adventure with his skittish assistant GM in the middle of the 1998 NBA Finals. The film will detail a budding friendship that neither one of them ever thought was possible but will end up solving both of their problems."

Is anyone else getting "The Hangover" vibes? This is going to be must-see television! Jonathan Majors, known for his work like "Lovecraft Country," will be starring in the Rodman role. The man is busy—he is currently working on a couple of Marvel film projects as well as filming "Creed III." Playing a person as mercurial as Rodman will take a lot of work, but the cast the right actor. He's terrific.
